—healed when you are bleeding,
lifted up when weak,
caught when you are falling,
understood when you can’t speak.
—Dreamt of if not sleeping,
hungry though you’re full,
winning beyond losing,
may you push if you can’t pull.
May you cry when tears permitted,
—smile though you’re sad,
running before walking
to let go of what you had.
—strong if still forgotten,
heard when prayers fail,
and held in warm embracement,
if left with no avail.
For every minute not remembered,
there’s a line for you from me,
